DATA DELETION & REVOCATION

Disconnect access. Delete data. Keep the receipt.

Aperta provides separate controls for revoking a connected provider, deleting imported provider data, and deleting an entire workspace.

01Disconnect

Stop future API access and revoke stored credentials.

02Delete

Request removal of the account, workspace, or provider data.

03Verify

Receive confirmation after the request is completed.

  1. Sign in to ApertaOpen app.useaperta.com using the account that owns or administers the workspace.
  2. Open Account → SecurityChoose the workspace data deletion control. Aperta requires protected-action verification before accepting the request.
  3. Review the deletion scopeConfirm which workspace, connections, generated assets, imported records, and publication history will be removed.
  4. Confirm the requestA 72-hour cooling-off period helps prevent accidental or malicious deletion. The authorized owner may cancel during that period.
  5. Keep the confirmationAperta records the request and provides a completion status without exposing deleted content.
02

Disconnect Google, Meta, or X without deleting the workspace

Open Connections in Aperta, select the provider, and choose Disconnect. Aperta will stop future requests, revoke or discard the stored credential, and preserve only records required for security, audit, consent, billing, or legal obligations.

GoogleDisconnect in Aperta, then review Third-party apps & services in your Google Account if you also want to revoke the authorization directly with Google.
Facebook and InstagramDisconnect Meta in Aperta, then remove Aperta from Facebook Settings → Business integrations if you also want to revoke access directly with Meta.
XDisconnect X in Aperta, then review Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions if you also want to revoke access directly with X.

Revoking a provider prevents new collection but does not automatically delete previously imported records. Use the workspace deletion control or submit the request below when those records should also be removed.

03

Submit an assisted deletion request

Email privacy@useaperta.com from the email address associated with the account. Use the subject Aperta data deletion request and include:

  • The account email and workspace or business name.
  • Whether the request covers the full workspace or a specific provider.
  • The connected Page, profile, property, or account name when known.
  • A statement confirming you are authorized to request deletion.

Do not send passwords, access tokens, API keys, recovery codes, or payment-card information. Aperta may request additional verification before acting.

What may be retained

Retained records are restricted to the applicable purpose and are not used for marketing, content generation, or ordinary product analytics.

Eligible active-service data is normally removed within 30 days, subject to provider dependencies and legally permitted exceptions. Applicable law may provide a different response period.
